Day
01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India. After
completing formalities with customs and immigration, you
will be received by our representative with Traditional
Indian Welcome (with garlands).
Delhi is the capital of India since old times. Delhi's
history dates back to the first millenium BC, when it
was known as Indraprastha. The Tomar Rajputs built Lal
Kot, the core of the first of Delhi's seven cities. It
is the epicenter of the nation's politics, economy and
culture. History is alive and throbbing in Delhi, the
capital of India.
Afterwards transfer to your hotel for the overnight
stay.
Day 02 In Delhi.
After breakfast you embark on your sightseeing trip of
Delhi City which would include the visit to Old Delhi
and New Delhi
Old Delhi : An ancient walled city. Here you would see
the Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the
Mughal Empire, Rajghat the Samadhi of our Father of
Nation, Jama Masjid the largest mosque in India and
Chandni Chowk the bustling and colourful market of the
old city.
New Delhi : The city designed and built by the British
in the 1920s- a city of wide boulevards impressive
Government Buildings, green parks and gardens. First you
will visit the two monuments from the Delhis past
Humayuns Tomb and Qutab Minar. Then your drive takes
you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the
Imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
After completing the sightseeing return back to the
Hotel for Overnight.
Day 03 Delhi Agra By Road ( Approx 210 Kms 04 Hours
)
Breakfast in the hotel. This morning drive to Agra
Agra is the one of the prominent destinations of the
World Tourism map with three heritage monuments - The
Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. It is more just a
dacadent city of graveyards and stones, but it is a
vibrant centre of Culture, Art and Religious philosphies
that have enriched mankind and shaped humen thought over
centuries.
Upon arrival start the sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Agra
Fort
Taj Mahal : The 17th Century master piece named Taj
Mahal ,which of course is the most splendid of all the
buildings perhaps the most perfect architectural
monument of the world. It was built in the memory of the
beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by one of greatest king of
Mughal Empire Shah Jehan.
Agra Fort: Built primarily as a military establishment
by Emperor Akbar in 1565,the redstone Agra Fort, was
partially converted in to a palace during the tenure of
Emperor Shah Jehan. Though the principal structure was
built by Akbar, many more additions were made by his
grandsons. This massive fort is 2.5 Kms long and is
considered the predecessor of the Red Fort of New Delhi.
In the evening assisted in the transfer to the railway
station to board the train for Umaria. Overnight will be
on Board the Ac Sleeper Class
Day 04 Umaria Bandhavgarh By Road
Morning arrival at Umaria and after a brief halt,
proceed to the famous Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (by
road), the major tourist attraction of Madhya Pradesh.
Upon arrival, rest for a while and later at noon, take
an exciting jeep safari to the park. Retire to the hotel
for the night.
Day 05 Bandhavgar Kanha By Road ( Approx 250 Kms 06
Hours )
Early morning, leave for a wildlife safari to
Bandhavgarh and spend some time watching the intriguing
antics of birds and animals. Later in the day, depart
for Kanha by road, the next wildlife destination. Upon
arrival, check in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 In Kanha
Today, whole day is to enjoy the company of fascinating
birds and animals at Kanha National Park. Enjoy an
exciting ride atop an elephant and later at noon, take a
jeep safari to explore the interiors of the jungle.
Overnight will be in Kanha.
Day 07 Kanha - Kawardha
Today proceed to Kawardha. Check out from hotel in the
morning and drive to Kawardha Palace. Upon arrival,
witness the tribal life of the Bastars from close
quarters. Later, visit the nearby tribal villages and
then retire to Hotel Kawardha Palace for the night.
Day 08 Kawardha Raipur Kanker By Road.
This morning continue the tribal tour to Central India
with a drive to Kanker, the tribal city of Madhya
Pradesh, en route stopping at Raipur. Upon arrival,
explore the tribal countryside of Kanker and transfer to
Hotel Kanker Palace for an overnight stay.
Day 09 Kanker Kondagaon Narayanpur Jagdalpur By
Road.
Morning check out from hotel and proceed to Jagdalpur by
road. En route, stop at Kondagaon and Narayanpur, the
two major tribal towns of Bastar famous for their
exquisite handicrafts. Continue drive to Jagdalpur after
lunch. On arrival, visit the famous weekly market of the
town and interact with the local tribals. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 10 In Jagdalpur
Jagdalpur gives you a clear tribal experience of Central
India and you have the whole day today to visit its
numerous attractions. Start with the very famous
Chitrakote Falls, Anthropological Museum and other
tourist attractions of historic Jagdalpur. In the
evening, enjoy an entertaining dance performance by the
local Bison-Horn Maria tribe and then retire to the
hotel for the night.
Day 11 In Jagdalpur
Today, we take you to the famous Kanger Valley National
Park, Tirathgarh Waterfalls and stalactite and
stalagmite caves. Later, return to Jagdalpur to get a
glimpse of its exquisite handicrafts and then retire to
the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 12 Jagdalpur - Raipur By Road
This morning drive from Jagdalpur to Raipur by road.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for the night.
Day 13 Raipur Delhi ( Flight )
This morning after the breakfast in the hotel you are
assisted for the transfer to the Raipur airport to board
the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi received at
the domestic airport and assisted in the transfer to the
International airport to board the flight back home.
